TV Show: Agents of SHIELD

As a mediocre Marvel fan, I had somehow been avoiding watching this show. I knew that the Marvel Cinematic Universe was "all connected," but I just didn't know how connected until I began Season 1 Episode 1 and met all the SHIELD agents that have become like friends.

Over the course of several seasons, I have laughed, cried, and screamed at my TV over multiple different scenarios that have occurred. I have became heartbroken and realized what true love is with these characters. The characters are what make the show what it is. The cast is phenomenal and work tirelessly to bring the viewers only the best.

The show kicks off with our favorite SHIELD agent - Phil Coulson - building a team of agents that will his team to pretty much do whatever he wants. They jet off around the world taking care of matters all over. The team also becomes a little family. The family, though, changes over the course of five season. Coulson leads the team through learning about the history of their organization, as well. This leads to some flashbacks of my girl, Peggy Carter, and I am LIVING for those scenes. Coulson also leads his family through all types of situations of discovery from someone being an inside man to loss to traveling, literally, through space and time, to name a few.

This show is more than about super heroes, Inhumans, and being part of the MCU. This show is one that I was so sad to end my Netflix binge of. I can't wait to get caught up on Season Six and see all my old friends again. I couldn't get enough and still can't. They are the unsung hereos of the MCU movies -- as they are cleaning up either the aftermath of events or setting other things in motion that lead to the Avengers saving the day.

I am ready to see how that my favorite characters handle what happened in Avengers: Endgame (with my review of that movie coming very, very soon with lots and lots of spoilers).
