Are you a Beatles fan? If so, then this book is for you! This is a sequel to the fabulous book "The Lonely Hearts Club" by Elizabeth Eulberg. Eulberg is a massive Beatles fan who makes a lot of references to the Fab Four throughout the books. The main character is named Penny Lane Bloom, whose family are some of the most obsessed Beatles fans on the planet (second to me, that is).
This book covers the relationship between Penny Lane and her new found boyfriend and how she balances her time with him with her time with the Club. That's right - the Lonely Hearts Club. Penny Lane shows what it's like to be the girl who is trying to balance it all and eventually learns she can't "get by with [out] a little help from [her] friends." If you love girl power, fierce friendships, and sticking it to the man, then this is a book for you. I don't want to give away too much due to this being a sequel. (Check out the novella "Two of Us" that is set after "The Lonely Hearts Club" and before this lovely read.)
This book definitely is one of my favorites and was not a disappointing sequel. Eulberg does this with every book she has written and continues to blow me away still. She is 10/10 one of my favorite authors and people to follow on Twitter. She brings the level of fierce to all her main characters that every girl wants to have as their role model while also finding a lot of themselves within those characters.

I bought this originally on my Kindle. I have a hard copy of the first book and the Kindle edition of the novella. The novella can currently be purchased for free on Amazon, if you've already read the first book!
