This book is one that's a little different than what I normally read. It is a book that is made up of several short stories about characters that are "half-human." It was a unique take on several stories that are some we already knew and some that were new to the world.
I enjoyed reading these stories the authors put out into the world. I loved reading some that are re-tellings of stories we're familiar with. I also really loved how that some were so good that when I turned the page and realized they were over made me a little sad on the inside. As someone who reads books all the time, reading short stories made me slow my roll a little bit. It was an experience I needed. I would love to read other stories by these authors.
These authors put forth a lot of work into making their stories top notch, and I can attest to that. I recommend this book for anyone who loves fantasy but an easy read. I recommend this book for anyone who loves seeing new takes on myths and legends and ideas.
My favorite story in the whole book was about a boy named Icarus. (I'm not going to give anything away.) I definitely loved how this story was told and the meaning behind it. It was perfect.
This book can be found on Amazon.
